Moukandjo: Cameroon didn't play well despite victory

France-based striker Moukandjo says the reigning African champions fought hard for the win when speaking to the media after the match in Yaounde, Cameroon.
Cameroon's first match at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup is against reigning South American champions, Chile in Moscow, Russia on Sunday.
"We had a good first half. In the second half, it was a bit difficult. We went back and physically we suffered," Moukandjo told the media.
"Despite everything we held, it was important to win. We must come to Russia with full confidence. It shows that we have resources and mentality.
"We folded but we did not break. We did not deliver our best game. We are ready to approach the Confederations Cup," he added.
"We have been preparing for a dozen days. This match is true it was a qualifying match for the next CAN 2019, it was also a preparation game to put us in legs.
"It was not easy with the climate, it was hot, but it had to adapt. In the head, we are ready to enter this competition. "
