Cameroon: Soon a University Hospital Center (CHU) in Bamenda

CFAF 15 billion project to build and equip the modern health facility with 121 hospital beds, as reported by Cameroon Tribune this Thursday.
A technical presentation prior to the site visit on May 3, 2017 revealed that it will be a Level II teaching hospital to provide services that include: Obstetrics, Cardiology, Neurology, Dentistry, CD Digitization, Delivery Rooms, Medical and surgical hospitalization, intensive care units, etc.During his visit, André Mama Fouda acknowledged that it was difficult for the company "Alliances Construction Cameroon" to deliver the site in 18 months as planned. However, the Minister initiated the government's action to defend the contractor so that the site could be delivered within the prescribed time.The project, a special offer from Head of State Paul Biya, was also the subject of an information session between the Minister and community leaders in the conference room of the Northwest Governor's office. On the site itself, the General Manager of the contracting company, El Anbri Saoudi, declared itself ready to meet expectations and deliver the highly anticipated project to improve healthcare.
