Cameroun: Dozens of alleged militants of Boko Haram captured
Dozens of alleged militants of Boko Haram have been captured during a military operation by troops of the multinational mixed mixed (DMF) of the Commission of the lake Chad Basin (LCBC) with the collaboration of the nigerian army(North eastern Nigeria) in the night of 07 - 08 June 2016, according to military sources.
About a month after the offensive had led to the arrest of the"emir" Bukar Kawu with five other officers and over fifty fighters of the islamist group in Kumche, in the night of 10 to 11 may in Madawaya, this new operation helped to dismantle a stronghold of Boko Haram in an area close to the cameroonian border.
This assault occured in the aftermath of a deadly attack on the islamist group that has killed thirty soldiers from niger and two others from the army of nigeria on Friday in Bosso, a town in the south of Niger near the border with Nigeria, according to the official report.
