Cameroon: The Minesup suspends an institute of higher learning

In a press release issued on Tuesday, Jacques Fame Ndongo indicates that the Higher Institute of Sciences and Technology of Trade is not allowed to operate in the Western Region of Cameroon.
The minister of cameroon's higher Education (Minesup), Jacques Fame Ndongo,  informed the university community and the public opinion that "the higher Institute of Sciences, Technology and Commerce (ISSTECO) is not allowed to operate in the West Region, still less in the city of Bafoussam". In its press release made public on may 31, 2016, Jacques Fame Ndongo does not give the reasons to this prohibition. He called, however, "students who wish to enroll in a private institution of higher education to consult the department's web site www.minesup.gov.cm or closer to technical services (directorate of Development of higher Education/sub-directorate for private higher Education) in the 13th floor, gate 1339 of the ministériel Building  N°2, during working hours".
