WCQ: Taiwo, Babalade Warn Eagles To Watch Out For Cameroon’s Bassagog

The Eagles will host the African champions on August 31 before travelling to Cameroon for the return leg on September 4 for matchdays 3 and 4 of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Taiwo who now plays club football for FC Luassane Sport of Switzerland told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"As the coaches are working hard to ensure they get the best Nigerian players for the matches against Cameroon,  they should also monitor what the Cameroonian players are doing at their clubs," Taiwo who now plays club football for FC Luassane Sport of Switzerland told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Yes it will help the coaches before the matches in August and September.  The scouting should not be limited to our players."
Former Shooting Stars of Ibadan defender Babalade agrees that the extra hard work will pay off but singled out the most dangerous Lion to watch out in those fixtures.
"Definitely it is very necessary to monitor what the Cameroonians and indeed players from the other countries that Nigeria will play against in the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers are up to," Babalade said.
"Talking about the player to watch out from their team (Cameroon) based on what I saw this year at the Africa Cup of Nations and Confederations Cup is obviously Christian Basssogog.
"He is left footed playing on the right wing.  Whoever Gernot Rohr picks as our left back in those games have a lot of work to do."
